Digi layouts :)

So tonight I did my very first ALL digital layouts ever, and it was SO MUCH FUN! Sorry for the all caps, but I'm absolutely giddy right now :)

I've been a mostly paper/hybrid scrapper for the last few years. I do mostly paper layouts, but I do use Photoshop Elements to resize my photos, add text or embellishments, and to print photo collages. Heck, I even "sketch" my layouts digitally so I can reuse the template for my photos.

But I digress.

About a month ago, I found this cool school album idea on Cathy Zielske's blog. I knew in my head what I wanted my kids' school years albums to look like, so when I saw her take on it I was thrilled. Everything is laid out for me so I just have to plunk some photos in & add a little bit of journaling. Woo-hoo! I mean, I love scrapbooking, but I have three kids & time is precious. And sometimes it's really nice to have everything done for me. Heck, I made these pages in just a hour or so tonight:

To say I'm thrilled is an understatement! For anyone who cares, you can get everything I used at Designer Digitals.
