Project LIFE, 12/5–12/18
Abbie checking out the Christmas Train at Mama & Papa’s.
Gingerbread house making day!
Crazy boy! You make me smile every day!
Right now one of Abbie’s favorite things to do is sit on poor Toby! He’s nine & tolerates her “Sit dog. Giddy-up!” as she bounces on his back.
We weren’t sure what Abbie was going to think of Santa this year. She was terrified last year and freaked out with the characters at Disneyland. She was thrilled to see him, and actually ran up before our turn so she could meet him!
Our reindeer glasses.
Olivia was an angel in tonight’s performance of “The Littlest Nutcracker”. She did a great job!
Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast, complete with chocolate chip faces :)
We made these fun snowflake ornaments today.
I found the idea on the Crafting Chicks blog. Check it out. Great ideas on there!
Yum! These treats were sinfully delicious! It wasn’t too hard to go thru a bag without even trying. Apparently everyone else thought so too, since they sold out fairly quickly!
Brandon’s class had their holiday party today. We decorated gingerbread cake houses, decorated cookies, at WAY too much candy, and played the dreidel game!
Another crafty day (thanks again Crafting Chicks!). Today we made felt Christmas trees, gingerbread men, and candy canes.
Tonight we went to the Drive Thru Nativity at the Seventh Day Adventist Church around the corner. It was great, although it was POURING! I felt so bad for the participants. Afterwards, we grabbed some coffee & hot chocolate & drove around looking at Christmas lights.
We drove down to Dave & Nicole’s today to celebrate Christmas together (& David’s birthday too!).
